Open and closed rhinoplasty
For Those who want to raise the bridge or tip. Closed surgery suits a simple raise, open surgery suits structural changes.
Closed surgery uses an incision inside the nostril only, so no scar shows outside. Materials include silicone, your own cartilage and donor dermis, chosen for your nose and skin.
Recovery Splint off after 4 days, stitches out on day 7, recovery 5 to 7 days.
Tip surgery without implant
For A tip that lacks height, or a hump nose.
Uses your own tissue instead of an implant on the bridge. About 1 to 1.5 hours.
Recovery Splint off after 4 days, stitches out on day 7, recovery 5 to 7 days.
Hump nose
For A bump in the middle of the bridge and a tip that droops.
Smooths the bump into a clean line. About 1 to 1.5 hours.
Recovery Splint off after 4 to 7 days, stitches out on day 7, recovery 5 to 7 days.
Short nose
For A short nose with an upturned tip and visible nostrils.
The length is extended safely first, because the bridge can only rise as far as the length allows.
Recovery Splint off after 4 days, stitches out on day 7, recovery 5 to 7 days.
Bulbous nose
For A wide bridge and a blunt, heavy tip.
A wide nasal bone can be narrowed by cutting the bone. The tip is refined and the nostril width reduced where needed.
Recovery Splint off after 4 to 7 days, stitches out on day 7, recovery 5 to 7 days.
Nostril wing reduction
For Wide or thick nostril wings, or large nostrils.
Reduces width or the size of the nostrils depending on the type. It is hard to undo, so the shape is analyzed first. About 30 to 60 minutes. No splint.
Recovery Stitches out on day 7, recovery 5 to 7 days.
Revision rhinoplasty
For A nose that did not turn out as planned, or that has problems after an earlier surgery.
The cause of the earlier problem is identified so the same problem does not return. About 1 to 2.5 hours.
Recovery Splint off after 4 to 7 days, stitches out on day 7, recovery 7 to 10 days.
